Wigglesworth is a small rural village situated in lower Ribblesdale, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, close to Settle and Skipton.
This website is designed to offer a service to residents and visitors alike. Local people will find details of services, tradesmen and other useful details, as well as diary of events and details from the Parish Meeting and Parish Council. Visitors can also use the what’s on information, plus the links to other attractions and details in the area.
As the site develops, the intention is to include resources and links about the history of the village, including documents and pictures. Wigglesworth is also the “spiritual” home of people with the surname Wigglesworth, and there have been a number of reunions in the village with visitors from all round the world. We are therefore providing links to a number of the genealogy sites and Wigglesworth family sites – if you know of more, please let us know!
