Even though Wigglesworth is a small rural village, it is a thriving community, with a wide variety of local businesses and tradespeople, and a variety of places to stay. Wigglesworth is fortunate to be one of the few small villages that retains a village shop and post office. The Shop is open 7 days a week and sells a wide range of everyday items, newspapers, sweets and souvenirs of Wigglesworth.

Several local farms make their produce available direct to the public, ensuring you can buy high quality - often organic - produce direct from the producer. Most will deliver locally, or can arrange delivery. There is also a regular Farmers' Market in Settle on the second Sunday of every month.
